Senior Reliability Engineer
Current- Manage Asset Life Cycle Management (ALCM) program to assist decision making for equipment replacement with CAPEX projects, based on criticality, condition and equipment obsolescence - Lead Equipment Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) studies- Create quarterly Equipment Bad Actor Report for all the assets at FMC, to be shared with production managers and to identify areas of focus to improve equipment reliability- Lead Reliability Core Team Meetings, with focus on the equipment listed on the ALCM reports with high criticality/condition score and the quarterly Bad Actor Report- Lead Equipment Improvement Teams (EIT) to identify equipment failure modes and to implement countermeasures to eliminate those failure modes - Owner of vibration analysis program on site for early detection of equipment failures, and corrective actions for inspections, repairs or replacement (agitator tanks/bioreactors, exhaust fans, air handlers, pumps, compressors and/or chillers). Yearly cost avoidance from this program is about $500,000/year- Project lead for the implementation of a condition-based program for steam traps on site, with estimated energy savings of more than $1,000,000/year- Lead some PM optimization tasks across production and/or utilities equipment- On site instructor on ultrasound techniques, such as steam traps inspections with ultrasound gun or lubrication with grease caddy
