Closed project that went into production for a performance enhancement and initiated project to increase regression test automation from 71% to 85% where 46% (77%) was achieved in five weeks. I helped at Colima's office HW setup & troubleshoot performance problem for Development & Testing HW.

I managed 21 persons (Mexico/USA) for world wide applications support including najor incident management in follow the Sun model aligned to ITIL with counterpart in Bangalore. 300+ applications supported for HR, Payroll, Financial, Data Warehouse and other corporate functions with 2,500 average monthly tickets compliying with SLA at 91% and Customer Satisfaction improved from 73% to 88%. Month End Close improved for HP Financial Services and Eiffel. Processes improvement and documentation; implemented IT communication bulletin boards; and TCE (Total Customer Experience) evolution Lab.

Merger from Sanmina and SCI took place in 2001 some months after I joined SCI. I was promoted to Regional IT Director for 11 plants and Region Headquarters (3M sq. feet) in Latin America Region for 5 different divisions.
