I initially started working for Javier’s Construction as a swamper in July 2004 and stopped in February 2005.Then in May 2007 I returned. At this time I was able to take all my IT experience and infuse it into many of their previous ways of doing business, thereby increasing productivity, efficiency, and decreasing process costs. Already being very familiar with the construction side of this business enabled me to quickly cater to the IT needs of the company.I did this by means of implementing 3 new laptops, a new workstation, an industrial printer/scanner/copier/fax, internet faxing, electronic bidding, electronic estimating, emailing of documents, implementing use of Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate, real-time synchronization of documents using Microsoft Office Groove 2007, synchronization of contacts, backups, wireless networking, and security software and hardware.This was a small business that only had the need of LAN support. When the IT needs of the company were met, I performed ongoing maintenance, synchronization, “paper to electronic” tasks, and website updates. I was in charge of overseeing the reconstruction of the company’s website by an outside Web Designer. I also took on Accounting and General Office responsibilities. As a side note, I was involved with the bidding and estimating of the company's foundation drilling jobs.I worked as the Office Technician from May 2007 to January 2009, I briefly worked for them again as a Supervisor and Foreman during August and September 2017, performed per-diem work from June 2019 to November 2019. Then from December 2019 until June 2020 I worked as either a Supervisor, Estimator or Office Technician. Next, I worked from July 2020 to March 2022, with occasional gaps. I returned in September 2023 to do per-diem work as the Office Technician.

At Fry’s, I sold a variety of technology and other products. The work involved lots of customer service, including directing customers to products, answering or researching their questions, retrieving products from backstock or other areas of the store, making product suggestions, and selling services/plans to cover certain issues for various products. Caring for the department included TSR, keeping products stocked, handling price change and signage needs, cleaning aisles and tables, assisting with backstock organization, doing software updates to the web browsers, restarting computers when opening the store, running software for the monitor display, picking up trash, refilling printer paper and doing store transfers.

My responsibilities as the Operations Manager at Celebrity Auction included but wasn’t limited to: New Hire Training, Website Testing, Backend Experience Management, Financial Reporting, Charity Outreach, Client Outreach, Tool Testing, Tool Integration, Contract Management, Internet Marketing and Social Media Marketing.

My position with Geo Redundant Hosting involved managing the full marketing, sales cycle, billing and customer support for their services. My responsibilities also included testing, compiling content for, and drafting the website which was under development.

My work with Linear Local involved Google AdWords Management Sales. This included making phone calls and sending emails to prospective clients. The training included learning how to setup and manage a Google AdWords campaign.

While contracted with DealerApp Vantage LLC, my work was focused on the integration, implementation and inventory setup for their customers’ car dealership mobile applications including iOS, Android and BlackBerry apps.

My contracted time with Micro Technologies involved the quoting and selling of various technology items including Optical Jukebox parts, servers, server options, networking hardware, Microsoft Volume Licensing, hard drives, MO drives, tape drives, LCD’s, media, and cables.

While working for Pemko Manufacturing Company, I was responsible for the implementation of over 160 new workstations many of which I personally installed. I also prepared and shipped out many others for satellite branches. In addition, I helped create and disable/delete Active Directory and other miscellaneous accounts for newly hired and terminated employees.Other highlights of experience from this employment are:I worked closely with Senior Network Engineers on special projects.I assisted with organizing and maintaining the complete IT inventory.I helped with the restructuring of the server room and all its hardware (4 full racks) including switches, routers, servers, workstations, and security devices.I was responsible for the re-imaging, cleaning, and selling of old workstations to employees.I worked with a WAN environment which included 2 Canadian and 2 U.S. branches.I continued to provide general day-to-day, first line, software and hardware support.I was able to support many users using remote access.

During my time with Home Savings Mortgage, I created and maintained accounts for new and existing employees including Active Directory, Exchange Email Distribution groups, and other mortgage industry accounts. I provided Help Desk support to end users, created process documentation, did physical installations of workstations, peripherals and wiring, converted "paper and pen" processes to electronic ones, performed website testing, database organization, data entry and phone bill accuracy confirmation. This was all in a WAN environment, at one time containing 13 branches throughout California and Nevada, which often involved remote access support.
