- Lead engineering team by collaborating with the members to drive and execute key product decisions. - Execute and supervise best engineering practices such as FEA, GD&T, Tolerance Stack anlysis, DFMEA, prototyping and initial testing. Approval and evaluation of engineering documentation and engineering changes. - Lead the team and coordinate with collaboration of other departments the Design Validation Production. High support on Pilot runs and Series production. - Validate and ensure product safety compliance per UL, CSA, EMC, IEC and other safety regulations requirements.

- Support product concept analysis. Evaluation of product concept through engineering calculation, analysis and simulation, FEA and 3D, virtual usability. Material product Cost estimation and support of business plan creation. - Responsible of product engineering development once concept is approved. Definition of product architecture, FEA and prototyping. Provide support and evaluation of testing activities and make design upgrades according testing results - Execution of Tolerance stack analysis, GD&T, Design for manufacturing and FMEA, BOM, purchased and fabrication (sheet metal and tube) drawing release. - Support as part of NPD team the 3P events, Pilot Run, First Series production, sustaining of new product releases during 6 months

- Detection of product improvements based on cost saving, manufacturing needs, components standardization, process capabilities. - Elaboration of product improvement proposal, make engineering analysis and prototype and coordinate the testing progress. Sheet metal and tube design. Product Packaging improvement. - Product version planning and development. - Submit and follow up engineering changes. - Analise customer complains caused by product design opportunities. Inform about the progress internally and externally. Submit CR as needed.

- Technical engineering drawings changes per team requests - Support engineers on prototypes building. Assembly, welding, hand made prototype parts. - Operator manuals and product labels improvements detection and execution of needed upgrades. Execution of updates according engineers feedback. Material Master maintenance on SAP.
