FoodHero L3C is a social enterprise Latino-led culinary school and food incubator providing culinary confidence for individuals pursuing career paths in food or starting a business. In response to COVID-19, FoodHero launched Cocina Rx- a food production initiative that serves chef driven “ Food As Medicine” meals also known as medically tailored meals. Cocina Rx also provides evidence based tele-nutrition coaching with a registered dietitian to reverse chronic illnesses such as diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, and cholesterol through home cooking and coaching.
