· Elected as the first Hispanic/Latino Student Body President with the most votes ever recorded in an SGA election.· Acted as the primary representative for over 28,000 students in matters related to student affairs and concerns.· Prepared and approved a budget of over $500,000 and reviewed inquisitions to the approximately $1,200,000 fund balance.· Lead an executive cabinet of 17 peers to enact a platform of campus safety, transparency, inclusion, and student wellness.· Utilized the SGA budget to be reinvested into campus with a student focus such as installing free menstrual product dispensers on campus, coordinating over $12,000 in emergency relief aid to students impacted by an apartment fire, repairing blue-light safety systems, aiding the marching band after budget cuts, and more.

The committee informs the Faculty Senate about changes and proposed changes in the university budget.• Passed multiple pieces of legislation including Good Samaritan Regulation policy reform to include substance-related medical emergencies and “Swipe Out Hunger” initiatives to allot leftover meal swipes to students in need.• Created a scholarship program using SGA funds to cover living costs for students seeking public service internships outside the city of Greenville.

• Served as the only student intern on a successful campaign for North Carolina’s First Congressional District. • Fundraising intern tasked with organizing and collecting donor data to ensure the campaign is well-financed throughout the election. • Staffed in-person fundraisers and campaign events. • Compiled daily press clips to keep the candidate and team up to date. • Took notes and entered data during call time with the candidate, supporters, and donors. • Drafted social media posts and ideas for improved outreach.

Named after North Carolina's first African American woman to represent the state in Congress, the Eva Clayton Fellowship teaches college students the intricacies of party politics and engages them in the democratic process. • Employee of the North Carolina Democratic Party’s Political Department tasked with organizing and problem-solving among party leaders and activists across the state.• Consistently communicating and responding to the concerns of constituents and Democrats across the state via phone calls or emails to maintain an active and organized base of support.• Assisting senior staff with administrative tasks across NCDP departments.
