- Developed a Fastener Fit Check Tool using Excel VBA capable of performing multiple fit check scenarios for configurations commonly used on the manufacturing floor.- Displayed results on a modified Excel sheet with corresponding success and failure criteria derived from the Manufacturing Process Instruction standard for Installing and Pretensioning of Threaded Fasteners.- Archived specifications and tolerances for over 5000 fasteners that auto populated depending on users selection.- Increased efficiency by 60% when performing checks and eliminated the need of using 14 separate Excel sheets for the different configurations that were commonly used on the shop floor.

- Developed toroidal pressure vessel conceptual designs in CREO for the Descent Element of the Human Landing System.- Created and refined finite element models of the ring structure for the toroidal pressure vessel tank using MSC Nastran and Patran.- Performed analysis on the lug design using load specifications from the Falcon 9 User’s Guide and compared the results obtained from CREO Simulate and MSC Nastran.- Assisted in the development of design solutions to redirect load paths on the current structure of the vehicle.- Analyzed shrinkage of a toroidal pressure vessel under cryogenic conditions.- Supported manufacturing at Mischoud Assembly Facility by developing references for key features on the Space Launch System.

- Utilized 3D printing, finite element analysis, and vibrational testing to compare the structural dynamics of various 1U CubeSats.- Produced CubeSat designs meeting official specifications and 3D printed the designs with an integrated locking mechanism.- Applied the use of Nastran and Patran to analyze the structural dynamics of the designs under launch environments.- Coordinated with the Structural Dynamics Testing team to perform series of vibrational testing on the printed designs.- Final presentation and poster will be given to the branch comparing the results obtained, and determining the most optimal design.

- Engineered a physical mockup of a new life support system that would be used by engineers to determine cable and tube routing.- Created a modified model of the system using Creo to be lightweight so engineers could easily change the orientation and transport. - Assisted in the procurement for all the necessary materials and supplies needed to complete the project. - Produced shop drawings for all eight components of the mockup and sent them to the shop to have them machined.- Updated the mass properties report every three weeks for all components associated with the system to stay consistent with design changes.

- Developed crew quarter conceptual designs for the 8.4-meter Deep Space Habitat that will take astronauts Beyond Earth Orbit.- Established the requirements and functions that would be needed for a 1000-day mission to Mars.- Produced CAD models with Creo to present in design reviews, perform virtual simulations, and construct a physical mockup.- Completed a function and task analysis that was used to determine the crew member’s capabilities and constraints. - Coordinated a Human Factors assessment to test how well the selected design met the requirements. - Analyzed feedback collected from 19 participants to make design improvements and provide insight for future designs.

- Selected from thousands of candidates nationwide to complete a five-week educational program focusing on the evolution of human's presence in space. Program included online discussions and a series of live video chats with NASA experts focusing on components for robotic or manned mission to Mars.- Final project required application of the disciplines from Planetary Sciences and Aerospace Engineering into a proposed Mars Rover Mission including three scientific objectives.- Selected to attend a three-day onsite workshop at the Johnson Space Center.- Participated in a robotics team competition and coordinated a final group presentation for a panel of NASA judges.
