STUDENT VOICE LEADERS REPRESENT THEIR COURSEMATES, AND HAVE THE POWER TO MAKE CHANGES ON THEIR COURSE AND AT MIDDLESEX UNIVERSITY MORE WIDELY. At the start of each academic year, all students elect at least 1 Student Voice Leader (SVL) to represent the year of their course. Throughout the year, SVL can go to them to suggest ideas and give feedback about your module, programme or wider University experience. They'll then work with your Programme Leader and other University staff to find solutions and make your time at Middlesex the best it can be.

Collaborating in WILDFIRE! Live Project, leaded by Wyn Griffiths. A situated immersive experience with immersive theatre, escape room and simulation environment elements, themed around the Climate Crisis (extreme drought – WILDFIRE!) and STEM knowledge and skills. The experience will explore aspects of accessibility, meaningful connection with the local communities and removal of visible and invisible barriers to participation through a co-design and co-production programme with young people and participating specialists (climate scientists, engineers, public engagement professionals, designers, filmakers/virtual production professionals) across Lewisham (and other areas of London). Researchers will be studying transformation of participants’ personal ‘STEM Identity’ through ‘narrative transportation mechanisms.
