My responsibilities were to admin, maintain and find new solutions for Novell/NetIQ Operations Center software in our customer GISS (Spanish Social Security), in a living project called "SIRA". This position is highly technical in nature, requiring knowledge of the workings of different operating systems, from Windows Server to Solaris/SuSE system, moderate Java tuning, basic knowledge in Oracle databases, knowledge of XML which is used in various pieces of the NOC software, and very strong problem solving and problem reproduction skills in the software.
