Adventure Out and N’MPower both serve gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning men and are non-traditional HIV prevention programs. Adventure Out uses experiential education to build resiliency skills and empower the GBTQ communities around the entire state of New Mexico to make safer and healthier decisions when it comes to sex. I coordinate, facilitate, outreach and am the full time staff of this program. The N’MPower program based in Albuquerque focuses on providing a safe environment for the mentoring and peer mentoring of gay/bi/transgender young adults while educating about personal sexual health and safety.
