As the Innovation Director at Salvi Lighting, I am leading the development of Smartec, a groundbreaking smart lighting system for street lamps. My role includes defining, coordinating, and supervising the creation of the necessary hardware and software, as well as choosing the most advanced and suitable technologies for our product. I work with a large and talented team that is both in our offices and remote, spread across different countries and continents. Together, we are working to light the way towards a brighter and more sustainable future.

In charge of the innovation area in a hardware and software development company, involved in all stages of production, from the identification of customer needs and technical requirements to the creation of the planning, sizing of equipment, coordination, execution and supervision until the implementation of the project. All of this using agile methodologies and Design Thinking.As outstanding achievements, our team has designed and implemented custom software for an international hotel chain and a leading global company in the canteen sector.

This company was founded because a niche market appeared in the railway sector, there was a need to measure the wear of train brake discs and there was no such device on the market. The complete creation of the device was carried out for a leading company in this area.Two more products were developed: a customised truck alarm for a client and an artificial intelligence system to improve the prediction of wind direction and intensity.

As a freelancer I have developed three lines of work: 1. Development of innovation projects, making the complete design, from the conceptualization of the idea to its final implementation in the company of the client.2. Integration of new technologies in existing machines, adding new features to normal operation, upgrading equipment without making new purchases.3. Management of machine development, establishing milestones, team, deadline and cost, leading and motivating the development team.Investigation of new forms of user-machine interaction and improvement of the efficiency of machines already on the market in the medical and medical-aesthetic field (laser and radiofrequency), both hardware and software.

Search of production optimisation methods, as well as detection, analysis and correction of factory errors by implementing preventive systems, mostly through two successful projects: - Package scanning setup system. This system avoids 80% of the errors that arrived to the clients. - Automatic work order generation software. This program avoids 28% of the errors generated during the manufacturing process
