Thrive Scholars is a six-year program that enables high-achieving, low-income students of color to connect with corporate sponsors and gain admission to top-tier colleges. As a Thrive Scholar, I actively participate in the program's activities. This includes attending the Summer Academies held at Amherst College and Northwestern University, where I engage with a college access manager, participate in college/career activities, attend high-level Mathematics and Writing classes, and join youth summits that support our college-to-career journey.Additionally, I serve as a panelist speaker for Thrive, where I have the opportunity to speak to board members and shine a light on the impactful work of this program.

I participated in a 5-week intensive national research program by Stanford University that teaches students Wet Lab Techniques, Computational Analysis, Quantitative Modeling, and Bioinformatics. During the program, I created a research proposal on using dinoflagellates as a new form of renewable energy and presented it to an audience of more than 100 people, including Stanford's iGEM team

Responsibilities include patiently teaching young children ages 4-5 the essential basics of English (clear pronunciation, forming sentences, and accurate spelling) and introductory Math (basic addition, subtraction, and multiplication). Additionally, I expertly tutor my peers in challenging Algebra 2 and Precalculus.
