The materials are intended for applications in Li-ions batteries, and technology slashes current prices by more than 90%.Kinaltek's work is covered by 9 international patents and patent applications. 1990-Nov 2015: CSIRO - Senior Principal Research Scientist. - Novel technologies for production of titanium alloys: I initiated and led work in CSIRO on titanium alloys that culminated in my invention of the CSIRO Titanium Alloys Process. This technology has been licensed for $150 M and is expected to produce major reduction in the cost of producing titanium alloy powder. - Al-Sc alloys: invention of a process for production of Al-Sc.- Before 2000, my work centered on electrical discharges, including the development of processes for deposition of amorphous carbon, and theoretical and experimental work on electric arcs.
