Junior Design Engineer
Current-Worked on plan, layout, design and cost estimation of the rehabilitation of roads project in Karachi under CLICK Scheme . Used Google Earth, Autocad, Civil 3d and Microsoft Excel in this project and learned different phases of road project from planning, creating layout, horizontal and vertical alignments, quantities and cost estimation with collaboration with utilities department to maintain drainage flows.- Worked on grading of parks under CLICK scheme , design and cost estimation.-Worked on layout, design and cost estimation of internal streets of Naya Nazimabad housing society. It included roads,intersections, pavement marking and traffic signs placement. -Worked on Red Line BRT Project layout and design. Work comprised of BRT Corridor, Mix Traffic Corridor with provision of cycle track and greenbelt.-Worked on Khani Cross to Sinjavi Road widening project. The major aspects were maintaining earthwork quantities in the design process as it is a rural highway on a mountainous terrain.- Worked on Gulzar e Hijri development project. It is a housing scheme with infrastructure scope and with challenges of drainage and grades differences. Designed all local interior and peripheral roads of this project along with quantity and cost estimation.
