A senior C-Suite professional with strategic leadership and finance background with over two decades of experience in various positions within PE Owned enterprises, SWF and professional services (audit). Jawad has worked in healthcare, retail and asset management sectors for companies owned by large private equity groups in leadership positions. Executive MBA from TRIUM (LSE, NYU, HEC).As CEO and co-founder of tech enabled agri startup, I am instrumental in shaping the company's trajectory from inception to its promising position as an industry leader. My role involves spearheading project initiatives, driving facility establishment, fundraising from strategic investors, family offices and infrastructure investors, and execute GTM strategies. With strong emphasis on growth delivered through unique innovation in RAS sector in the region we aim to position ourselves as frontrunner in the sector. As dedicated board member, I contribute strategic insights to guide our continued success. In his immediate previous role role as CEO reporting to the Board of Directors, Jawad was responsible for delivering on the growth and exit strategy of the shareholders. I deliver the growth strategy and financial objectives of the organization through CX, customer service delivery, innovation, and most importantly team engagement married with insightful analysis of current performance, objectives and current market and future market scenarios. Heavily involved with the Board’s strategic committee to work on M&A side of the business where we have successfully carried out acquisitions and exits. In another role with Retailcorp World (a Dubai World subsidiary), Jawad managed finance function for the integrated retail conglomerate (retail, trade, F&B, entertainment, shopping malls, South Africa division and hypermarkets). Jawad helped in restructuring and integration of RSA division (a double digit USD m acquisition and turned it to a healthy self financing and profitable unit). He also assisted the fund managers in evaluating new investments, preparation of business plans, and restructure to achieve growth and profitability. Prior to that he worked for Ernst & Young with specific focus on financial sector clients (banks, investment/pvt equity), large govt. enterprises and Retail.
