Polypore is an international leader in the manufacture of micro-porous membranes.Responsible for development of annual, 3-year and 5-year capital plans and upgrade of antiquated plant systems, utilities management (boilers, cooling towers, chillers, evaporation, wastewater treatment). Lead process safety audit on three hexane extractors, including x-ray and ultrasonic thickness testing. Implemented thermographic preventative maintenance plan.Lead multiple kaisan events including maintenance department inventory and SMED related to extrusion due changes. In excess of 130 safety projects completed, primarily in machine guarding.
