Currently majoring in Business Law and minoring in Political Science, Jaxson Finger is a sophomore at Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business.With his combined customer service experience as a barista and a professional mover, Jaxson highly values an efficient, effective, and organized work process while also prioritizing customer and client experience and needs. He is always looking for new tasks to do, avoiding wasting any of his time and be willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. Jaxson has also been involved in choral performance groups throughout his life, where he has taken on a variety of administrative positions culminating in his current position as President of The Undertones at ASU, a Jazz acapella group that performs at various community events around campus including fundraisers and social awareness nights. Jaxson has planned a variety of activities including concerts, fundraisers, and weekly rehearsals, worked to create budgets and submit funding forms, in addition to communicating daily with ASU administration members as well as students. Through these experiences, Jaxson has learned about time management, effective communication in casual and formal settings, resource organization, and submitting professional forms and requests.Jaxson highly values the pursuit of knowledge and skills, filling his free time with a variety of creative and active endeavors including painting, learning piano, hiking, and traveling with friends and family, playing basketball, and writing. Jaxson also enjoys assisting his old We the People competition government group and youth choir program, where he helps mentor new members and assists his old teachers.Jaxson gained a passion for law whilst being on a constitutional debate group, and channels that passion into his studies of political science and corporate law. Corporate law’s broad application and administrative emphasis stood out to him to cover a wide amount of the legal field and gain business experience. With a specific interest in climate change regulations and international trade and communication, Jaxson has goals of travelling, entering the field of legislation or legal counsel, and attempting learn as much about the world as he can.
