As a loan officer I focus on refinancing loans and selling products and services. After almost two years of experience I can now finance mortgage, auto, and unsecured loans. I am responsible for keeping a high member service score based on surveys sent out to members that I specifically help. The biggest focus is to search for members that have high interest rate loans and find ways to save them money by lowering their interest rates. I am additionally responsible to understand how credit scores work, what the company’s interest rates are, and being current on all laws and regulations of lending within a Credit Union.

In this position I assisted a professor in a Management 1050 course. The class focused on ethical leadership, team building skills, and decision making. My responsibility was to grade papers for the students, answer questions, teach supplemental instruction classes, and help the students prepare for tests. I was chosen for this position based on excellent performance when I took the class.
