Jaxon was a Customer Service Representative with the Bank of Nova Scotia. His responsibilities included assisting customers with banking queries while providing an exceptional customer experience when performing day to day banking services such as accepting/paying cash, scheduling appointments, exchanging currencies, issuing drafts and wire transfers, etc.

In the summer of 2014 Jaxon relocated to Princeton, BC to work in the Operations Department at Copper Mountain Mine as a summer student. He completed 96 hours of training and was signed off to operate 240 ton Komatsu 830E Haul Trucks. Jaxon was responsible for transporting over 5000 tons of material per day in a safe and efficient manner. During his time at the mine, he helped the corporation achieve the 365+ day milestone without any time loss incidents. Jaxon gained experience working 12 hour days and nights on shiftwork rotation intervals.

A summer student for the Parks Department, Jaxon worked as apart of the City's Rough Cut Mowing Crew. The primary tasks of this job included rough cutting and weed control throughout the City's boundaries. In all weather conditions, he was responsible for the weed-eating and mowing of vacant lots, park areas as well as roadside shoulders with grassy vegetation. On a weekly basis, he maintained the formal cutting of the sports field at the Kelowna Apple Bowl (local track facility). He has experience in safely operating city owned vehicles while trailering and unloading mowers. Jaxon was also responsible for safely running mowing equipment where buildings, traffic, pedestrians and co-workers are usually within close vicinity to mowing operations. Along with mowers, equipment such as edgers, blowers and pruning tools were frequently used to ensure all public green spaces were left looking spotless.
