• Conduct a level 3 (senior) review and validation of net asset valuation (NAV) of various pension assets/fund in daily and monthly basis through direct review and clearing of trade, pricing, income and corporate activities exceptions generated by the accounting system of JPMorgan.• Conduct the final review of certain pension funds daily reconciliation of NAV, cash transfers transactions, shares and prices reconciliation and senior review of NAV validation exceptions generated from the exception management system of JPMorgan in daily and monthly basis. Daily task involves the releasing of the daily NAV of the daily fund accounts while the monthly task involves the releasing of the monthly unaudited financial statements of both the daily and monthly funds. • Conduct the final review of bookkeeping and cash and NAV reconciliation of a special pension fund account in a daily and monthly basis.• Conduct the senior level review of the pricing exceptions under the pricing task process of certain funds held under European and Middle East accounts. The pricing task is actually the final process of daily NAV validation before the NAV report will be delivered to the client.• Develop a work allocation for all the major daily and monthly activities ensuring proper work assignments for all the preparers and reviewers available at the given point of time based on the competency matrix maintained by the Company. Audit and Assurance SeniorPunongbayan & Araullo (A Member Firm within Grant Thornton International)• Develops audit plans indicating phases and timing of the audit work, staffing requirements, estimated time charges, and client's specific requirements. This includes understanding the client's business and industry, government regulations affecting the client, risk assessment, identifying special audit procedures in verifying the fairness of the clients' financial statements and its business operations.• Ensures proper execution of engagement audit plans of clients by conducting timely supervision and review of work of audit assistants and discussion of issues and the results of the examination of the financial statements and review of internal control with appropriate client personnel.• Identifies errors and misstatements in the financial records to ascertain compliance with established accounting standards, procedures and internal controls. Propose solutions through adjusting journal entries after examining pertinent documents such as bank statements, inventory listing, disbursement vouchers, tax returns and other accounting and financial records, documents and systems of a client.• Prepares and reviews financial audit reports for all audit engagements and other reports on findings and recommendations to improve the client’s accounting and operating practices.• Supervises staff assistants on several engagements at the same time.
