Jay has successfully set up and is currently running a trading business in luxury goods, specializing in brands with niche markets; ultra luxury designer brands such as: Raf Simons, Helmut Lang, Rick Owens, Maison Margiela, Visvim, Ann Demulemeester, Jill Sanders, Hender Scheme, among others. As a sole proprietor, Jay conceptualized and executed the overall strategy of the business, including creating a supply chain, distribution network, p&l, logistics, and financing for the business, which chiefly caters to an international market, including China, the Americas, and Europe.

During his stint at EY, he managed the end-to-end processing of the entire asset requirement for the year- which ranged from tangible to consumable assets; entailing inter-department communication and management on a daily and weekly basis, whilst ensuring that all assets would be delivered on time, under budget, within specifications - following the global procurement standards & procedures of EY.
