Most recently I held the title of Senior Manufacturing Engineer at ICON, a company that develops and produces innovative solutions for the construction industry. I have over 20 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, design, and assembly, as well as multiple certifications in user experience design, innovation acceleration, and thinking through making.My core competencies include manufacturing operations, bill of materials management and creation, design for manufacturability and assembly, lean innovation methodologies, and agile development. I have led the development and execution of comprehensive manufacturing plans, collaborating closely with design teams to establish DFMA goals. I have also provided essential manufacturing requirements to facilitate the setup of new manufacturing facilities and spearheaded the creation of detailed work instructions to guide manufacturing operations. Additionally, in a previous role I have been involved in a manufacturing project that produces electrified mining machine prototypes, a domain where I have gained expertise and insight. I have been fortunate enough to work with projects that studied the feasibility of drones, exoskeletons, wearable devices, large scale 3D printing of structures, and incorporating a Maker Mindset into business culture.My mission is to promote innovation in the workplace by example and change the culture and employee experience. I like to get to know customers and develop ideas, test hypotheses, and experiment. I am also passionate about the maker movement and the arts and culture sector, where I have served as a board member for a non-profit organization that facilitates partnerships and programs that empower and raise awareness for the arts. I am always eager to learn new skills and apply them to create value for my team, my company, and my community.
