I am the author of the novels Until There Was You, The Restart Project and Welcome To Me, with my new book Present Past currently under contract. My journalism can be found all around the internet with by-lines on websites including Thought Catalogue and Popmatters and I've published academic chapters in collections from Edinburgh University Press and Rowman & Littlefield. Currently, I also work on archivist and research projects around the city.I have been invited to present my academic research at conferences all around the country including at Kingston University, Roehampton University, Sheffield Hallam University and The University of South Wales. Additionally, I have been included in several panels to discuss contemporary cinema, most recently for the BAFFTS Horror Studies group (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGcW3iXAe5A). As visiting lecturer at Roehampton University I recently taught the module Introduction To Film History and Criticism, charting arguments surrounding the formation of cinema from the silent era to now. My PhD research focusses on the intersection between children's media and the horror genre.I frequently work with small publishers on a freelance basis as a beta reader and offer editorial support and scriptwriting support for a variety of creators and writers. Currently I help produce and organise enriching and innovative content for older adults, providing valuable resources to support those living in the care setting. Throughout my career there is a strong theme of people management and leadership, having managed teams in automotive, library, food manufacture and university environments. In 2021 I helped manage and staff one of the biggest COVID-19 vaccination and testing sites in Surrey thanks to Kingston University's partnership with local GP branches.
