As Clinical Director of an outpatient substance use treatment program under the New York Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) I am responsible for overseeing the clinical aspects of the program to ensure compliance with OASAS regulations and guidelines. My duties involve managing and supervising clinical staff, including counselors and therapists, to deliver high-quality treatment services. As Clinical Director I play a pivotal role in program development, implementation, and evaluation, working to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of substance use treatment services. I collaborate with other administrative and clinical staff, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and maintain a strong understanding of OASAS standards to uphold the program's commitment to providing evidence-based and client-centered care. Additionally, as Clinical Director am involved in staff training, and maintaining a positive and supportive treatment environment for clients seeking recovery from substance use disorders.
