CurrentHuman Resources Specialist – Benefits - HR, Saint Petersburg College, Saint Petersburg, FLOctober 2021 – PresentIn October of 2021, I was moved into the benefits department, handling the benefits for all active SPC employees including, but not limited to, FMLA, insurance, verifications, and leave. While performing these duties I maintained my duties of managing the project deliverables and supplemental compensation for the college, as well as performing quality control for all Talent Acquisition department input. Human Resources Specialist – Talent Acquisition & Onboarding - HR, Saint Petersburg College, Saint Petersburg, FLJanuary 2020 – October 2021As the HR Specialist for T.A.O., I was the point person for all data input taking place for Saint Petersburg College. This includes but is not limited to: personnel data, hiring data, and terminations/resignations/retirements. I became versed in the PeopleSoft system and was the point of contact for assistance for the different department admins and managers for questions regarding the system. Upon the implementation of the new Personnel Action Request (PAR system), I was in charge of developing new procedures for various processes regarding procedures that the new system did not integrate. I also created a new procedure for handling the annual renewal of the college’s Other Personnel Services (OPS) employees.As the specialist in the department, I was, and continue to be, the point of contact for much of the college regarding the hiring process and the new PAR system operations.
