It included four clustered environments across the nation with 12 unix / Oracle servers and 12 MTS / SQL servers in each environment. Coordination of deploys involved development, QA, customer representation, and operations. Coordinated deployment activities over an extended period of time due to quarterly mainframe region requirements. The thick client was deployed to production using a Marimba system with multiple repeaters.
Software Configuration Management Consultant
Responsible for the development of a streamlined Configuration Management process for a large inter-company application. This included management of the Rational ClearCase VOBs in a mixed Intel and Unix environment as well as the building and packaging of the final product. The tools used were batch scripting, Visual Studio and InstallShield. Managed the build environment, which involved maintenance of NT workstations, NT 4.0 MTS Servers, Unix servers and web servers. Involved in troubleshooting builds and production issues which included Oracle and Microsoft SQL servers in a multi-located clustered environment.
