I direct operations of the Biospecimen Core Resource (BCR), a biospecimen processing and clinical data curation facility supporting multiple National Cancer Institute genomics projects. Originally developed as the point of entry for biospecimens and clinical data into The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), the BCR is now part of the HIV+ Tumor Characterization Project and Burkitt Lymphoma Genome Sequencing Project of the NCI Office of Cancer Genomics, and the Exceptional Responders Initiative and Adjuvant Lung Cancer Enrichment Marker Identification and Sequencing Trial (ALCHEMIST) of the Center for Cancer Genomics.
