From the success of delivering the highest ever funded graduate project (outlined below) I was chosen specifically to join a newly formed Exploratory Engineering team working primarily on electric vehicles but also specialising in transport as a service. During my time I:>Increased the company’s awareness of the importance of designing to real customer needs and designing experiences to meet these, through rolling out company-wide Design Double Diamond projects>Kicked off big data workstreams aiming to utilise and understand genuine customer needs>Increased the effectiveness and efficiency of data transfer for JLR's markets through leading a team to define and design information tools>Pushed novel and new innovative techniques including JLR's first-ever internal Hackathon>Increased Graduate involvement through development of a mentoring scheme

During the highly competitive Jaguar Land Rover Design Graduate Scheme:> I was the co-lead for the highest ever funded graduate project at JLR. The project involved a variety of different design processes, pitching for funding, customer research (in UK, France, Mumbai, and Beijing), presenting output to large and very senior audiences and crucially following a rigorous, traceable and transparent customer-focused design approach>I was chosen to present a business-wide DecX Talk (JLR's version of TED talks) on the project outlined above>I was awarded the Design Reward and Recognition Scheme, within Jaguar Design – endorsed by Ian Callum>I completed placements in Jaguar Design, Design Innovation, and Global Product Strategy

I was elected as Formula Student Team Leader; a team comprising of over thirty Mechanical Engineers and approximately fifteen volunteers working together to design, build, test and race internationally a single seat prototype race car. I was ultimately responsible for managing and making key decisions within the project.

Led a small team (three people) to create an investment opportunity and present at Silverstone and in Hungary; achieving 2nd position out of 95 teams worldwide at Silverstone and 2nd position after presenting in the Formula Student Hungary finals (including developing a Loyalty Scheme).

I was voted in as President of the Club, which won the Best AU Club award for the year 2012-2013. As President I had to oversee and run one of the largest clubs at the University of Liverpool. I led a 12 member large committee: organising events, expeditions and equipment for over 100 members.
