About Jay Cady

My wife Leslie and I have been professional performers since 1980. We have given over 6000 performances in 34 states and 7 foreign countries. We specialize in school programs using humor and circus skills to teach math, reading, science, civics, and other curriculum concepts. In 2010 Kansas City Young Audiences awarded us the Lighton Prize for Excellence as Teaching Artists. We also write and perform a new library show each year based on the Summer Reading Theme. Our goal is to continue to create and perform innovative programs for a growing group of sponsors including schools, libraries, theaters, and festivals.Specialties: juggling, mime, magic, improvisation, school assemblies, library programs
