Accountable for ensuring that Front Office Suppliers deliver services in line with Shell agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while contributing maximum benefit for Shell. This role is accountable to:1) Deliver Secure and Reliable operations across Shell;2) Deliver Infrastructure operating plans and key targets defined in Business and Functional dashboards;3) Deliver consistent services through a common operating model across all Infrastructure; 4) Align and enhance the delivery of existing services, on the basis of functionality, trends (in line with SLAs including systemic issues), costs and developments agreed by the Business and Front Office Suppliers;5) Partner with the essential departments to ensure that problems/situations and systemic issues are proactively addressed and resolved by the Front Office Suppliers;6) Transition to Operations new services and understand how these are integrated to deliver Enterprise Services; 7) Identify improvement opportunities and resolve systemic issues across the Infrastructure - working with IT, Contracting and Procurement, Finance, and Front Office Suppliers as appropriate;8) Provide direct visibility and accountability for all Infrastructure;9) Ensure delivery occurs effectively and efficiently when Front Office Suppliers need to work together to provide services to Shell;10) Integrate services related to acquisitions or divestments, being accountable independent of the supplier landscape. Ensure maximum efficiencies; 11) Investigate areas which should be insourced / further outsourced in order to address the changing business needs, increase operational stability, maximize business value, etc. to Shell business.

Accountabilities of the Services and Operations Manager include:(1) Ensuring the effective global operations of IT to the Trading business with accountability for driving a customer focused approach to end-to-end service levels. Assists in incident escalations, communications and regulatory and operational compliance (considering NERC, FERC, CIP, CFTC, NFA and FSA);(2) Interfacing with the infrastructure and applications suppliers. Responsible for class of business relationship with and feedback to the Key Application and Infrastructure Suppliers;(3) Responsible for stakeholder management within the Trading business; (4) Acting as a focal point for infrastructure and applications changes assessing the impact of change on the business environment; Manages and assures appropriate change control, impact assessment and authorization reporting for IT services;(5) Providing the integration activities including remediation of persistent or systemic operational issues in all of the Trading landscapes.(6) Accountability for the financials for IT run and maintain operations and projects for the Trading business, including license management;(7) Successful delivery on time, on budget and delivering the agreed business functions for class of business projects as well as successful coordination of Downstream wide projects collaborating closely with the Global Projects Portfolio Manager;(8) Ensuring that annual Disaster Recovery testing is successfully completed for business critical and landscapes.
