I am a passionate and dynamic professional with over a decade of experience in operations management, currently transitioning into the exciting field of cybersecurity. My journey in cybersecurity began with my enrollment in an intensive 9-month bootcamp at the University of Miami. This program has provided me with substantial hands-on experience and a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles. With just 4 months remaining in the program, I am eagerly anticipating the completion of my CompTIA Security+, Network+, and A+ certifications.During my time in the cybersecurity bootcamp, I have engaged in various projects that have honed my technical skills and deepened my understanding of the field. In the Microsoft Security System Administration course, I optimized system performance through Windows management commands and improved network security by configuring Windows Server settings. My work on integrating infrastructure security involved mastering Linux command-line administration, managing EC2 instances to ensure efficient cloud resource utilization, and developing Python scripts to automate data processing tasks, enhancing productivity and accuracy.In my previous roles, I have consistently demonstrated my ability to drive operational excellence and business growth. As an Operations Supervisor at SCM/Amazon/FedEx, I oversaw daily operations, focusing on route planning, customer satisfaction, and vehicle fleet management. My efforts in coaching employees and maintaining constant communication between customers and the company resulted in improved performance and lower turnover rates. As an Assistant Manager at Divers Direct, I played a key role in generating and tracking sales, ensuring outstanding guest satisfaction, and managing employee development.My technical skills encompass operating systems (Linux, Windows), networking (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, NAT, routing), cloud security (EC2 instance management), and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
