Jay Cathey brings over 20 years of knowledge in multi-family housing with experience in the conventional and affordable market since the start of his career in 2001. Before joining Freeman Webb, he served as Regional Property Manager for LHP Capital with communities in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Louisiana while acting as the Chairman of LHP’s Safety Committee. As an industry leader, he has successfully guided teams through new developments, lease-up, acquisition rehab, capital improvements, and revitalizing distressed properties. Jay is a two-time graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University, earning an MBA with a concentration in Management and Leadership and a BA in Management and Human Relations, plus induction into the Phi Delta Lambda Honor Society. Additionally, he is a CPM Candidate with IREM and has received numerous industry designations, including the ARM, CAM, BOS, COS, TCS, HCCP, and SHCM. Jay is a Nashville native and resides with his wife and children in Clarksville. He serves on staff at Community of Hope in Clarksville, TN, and has enjoyed opportunities to volunteer with local non-profit organizations.
