Responsible for mentoring six fast attack submarine crews providing training and oversight for Auxiliary Division Chiefs, Quality Assurance Officers, and 3M Coordinators. Demonstrated command-level expertise on all submarine systems and operations by providing critical assessments during two shipyard availabilities, numerous maintenance availabilities, ten engineering inspections, four quality assurance inspections, five 3M inspections, four Tactical Readiness exams, six Pre-overseas Movement Inspections, as well as numerous complex evolutions.Provided review and feedback to three Squadron Submarines, which enabled all Submarines to receive outstanding results on three Squadron inspections.

Responsible for directly supervised all Auxiliary operators, over 15 personnel for a nuclear submarine.Managed Operations, maintaining, and repair (organizational and intermediate level) auxiliary equipment, and outside machinery, such as: steering gear, damage control/ firefighting equipment, food preparation equipment, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment laundry equipment, and an emergency diesel engine. Responsible for performing tests, transfers, and inventory of lubricating oils, fuels, and water. Maintained records and reports, and performed duties in the generation and stowage of industrial gases.Provided sound leadership and operational guidance throughout numerous complex testing and maintenance periods, meeting production timelines and operational commitments. Extensive experience in executing tag out procedures and work authorization, emphasizing coordination with shipyard personnel during a Ships Restricted Availability and one Modernization period Enforced high standards for control of maintenance and securing equipment.

Responsible for the induction, scheduling and coordinating all scheduled and emergent maintenance repairs, and alterations on assigned tended submarines. Coordinated all facets of maintenance for a Naval shipyard and all alteration contractors leading highly successful completion of 5 major avails, two pre deployment period and numerous voyage repair periods, costing over 2.8 mill dollars in repair costs and over 80,000 man days. Acts as the liaison between Maintenance center production shops and ships force personnel. Also acts as the coordinator of multiple contractor/vendors to execute set upkeep plans and schedules in an orderly and efficient manner with the goal to meet all assigned key events.Meets with production shops and conducts production analyses of operations, comparing actual performance with production schedules.

Responsible for training Auxiliary Division personnel in proper auxiliary system maintenance procedures.
