• Established, lead and supported fashion icon Monique Lhuillier’s accounting department for ten years.

• Worked directly with the CEO to adopt and maintain all financial aspects of the company.
• Implemented original month-end close process and, over time, reduced close periods by fifteen days.

Beverly Hills, California, US

• Contracted as Integration Consultant for SBERG, serving as the liaison between the CFO and the VP of IT of SBE.
• Executed the role of Project Manager (PM) of SBERG’s Business Intelligence (BI) solution Avero. Based on the success of the Avero implementation, was assigned as PM on a Cognos BI solution for the entire SBE parent.
• Fully redesigned SBERG’s weekly Flash Report Package utilized by SBE execs for operational and financial analysis.

• Guided owners of this start-up lingerie manufacturing & wholesale company on all business-related matters.
• Elevated operation from a friend’s hobby into a nationally recognized, celebrity driven, market competitor.
• Responsible for all financial and accounting functions, as well as contributed daily on operations and sales.
• Handled all A/R, A/P, H/R, inventory, tax, regulatory, systems and website related matters for the company
• Prepared monthly and year-end financial statements through implementation of Apparel Magic ERP system.

Accountant in the finance department of the networking/telecom division of Twentieth Century Fox located on the Fox Studios lot. Duties included: posting monthly general-ledger entries, maintaining all inter-company account balances, invoicing, balance sheet reconciliations and production of supporting schedules.

Initially served as Income Auditor in the accounting department for the Moral, Welfare and Recreation division of the Armed Forces, as a civilian, ensuring the proper posting of transactions for eighty resort activities. Subsequently transferred to the engineering department to support the MIS team. After changing AFRC locations, worked seasonal resort.

Obtained CPA Certificate and promotion to Senior Accountant upon completion of two years of employment with this regional CPA firm. Duties included: preparing tax returns, performing audits, reviews and compilations, preparing financial statements, monthly bookkeeping and documenting and presenting policies and procedures on newly implemented software.
