My practice is focused on litigating mass tort cases involving manufacturers of medical devices and pharmaceutical products. I am responsible for all aspects of litigation practice, including participating in trials, taking depositions, presenting witnesses for depositions, attending and arguing hearings, drafting discovery and pleadings, and interacting with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.

» First and second chair trial experience in state and federal courts.» Effectively litigated personal injury and product liability cases, including deposing and securing witnesses, analyzing witness statements and other documents in preparation for trial, and preparing in‐depth case analysis. » Notable cases:● Represented manufacturer of concrete in breach of contract and breach of warranty suit that was successfully tried to a federal jury in Beaumont in 2012.● Successfully defended vendor of Beaumont-based grocery store chain in premises-liability suit by grocery store employee after litigating the merits of the indemnity clause in vendor agreement.● Successfully defended Houston-based custom home general contractor in property damage suit by homeowners and construction subcontractors.● Negotiated defense and indemnity provisions of master service agreement between subcontractors on oilfield premises-liability claim.
