I am an optimistic, motivated Operations Manager for a national wholesale distribution company. I have been with SWD for almost 12 years now starting from picking and packing in the warehouse, aspiring to grow and learn as much as I can, to now being the Operations Manager for 5 warehouses across Australia.During this time, I also worked in a sales role and a purchasing role which allowed me to learn different aspects of business. I also earned my Bachelor of Business Information Systems degree from Griffith University while still maintaining a full-time workload. I've implemented many changes in my current role that have improved efficiency and reduced costs. I am always looking to improve on current systems to achieve operational excellence. Studying and working full-time have equipped me with the skills to manage my time effectively, which I believe is crucial in succeeding in any work environment.I have a strong interest in people and how they act and react in the working environment which I believe is a key element to the success of rolling out any change or improvement in a business environment.
