Developed and lead a five-year $98M modernization program to transform highly diverse cored applications to a scalable, event-driven and cloud-based platform modernizing existing business processes and enabling new business models to support company’s $20B growth strategy. Introduced a “user experience” methodology for front end development, built and lead a team of 15 UX professionals to support/govern all internally developed applications. Business value continues to be measured in end user satisfaction and productivity improvements. Also introduced the first mobile application to JB Hunt portfolio and built a team of mobile developers to support and build upon that initial effort.• Created sourcing strategy to manage growth by outsourcing and offshoring specific projects and functions. • Facilitated Salesforce.com CRM migration to Microsoft Dynamics CRM and integration to legacy systems, generating a 60% licensing savings. • Implemented application portfolio rationalization, reducing overall portfolio by two-thirds.• Facilitated implemented of cloud-based Workday finance and HR system, reducing days to close by four days and enabling customer-level P&L to drive insights and improve profitability.
