Manages the master schedule of a major Federal IT project. Creates a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and uses it to create and maintain a complex Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in Microsoft (MS) Project. Uses generally accepted best scheduling practices. Works with stakeholders to identify detailed tasks, durations, dependencies, and resources to build the schedule. Builds “dynamic” project schedule with minimum task constraints. Performs Critical Path Analyses (CPA). Performs manual resource leveling and Resource Critical Path Analysis. Documents and manages the schedule progress update and modifications process. Analyzes schedule for best practices in dynamic scheduling and potential “hidden” problems. Assesses schedule performance and advises the team and client on preventive and corrective actions required. Tracks actual vs. planned vs. baseline. Creates tracking reports using MS Project 2007 & 2010 for various levels of client management.

Retained through Insight Global for 6-month project to build a business intelligence platform for the US Air Force. Developed the phased master resource plan, organized and facilitated Scrum meetings, conducted bi-weekly working sessions, and created program milestone graphics and training decks for client and project teams.

Brought into the Project Management Office(PMO) to plan, track, and ensure the timely delivery of multi-million dollar projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Scope of accountability spanned developing project plans, defining and monitoring budgets, establishing and tracking schedules, identifying and mitigating risks, communicating issues to stakeholders and team members, presenting changes to change control boards, and ensuring the successful delivery.

Recruited into the small business and corporate accounts department to manage the full life cycle delivery of installation and repair services to clients in 9 states. Planned and coordinated efforts of dispatch personnel, clients, and utilities to ensure projects and services were delivered on-time, with high quality, and in adherence to FCC standards. Received award for exceeding established sales and delivery goals across multi-million dollar projects for clients within the hospitality, healthcare, and retail industries. Primary interface between internal teams and clients to analyze needs, define solution, and negotiate contracts. Planned and monitored schedules, mitigated risks and issues, and led the deployment of wired and wireless services.

Chosen to lead all aspects of critical project to resolve discrepancies between property & casualty insurance policies sold and issued within the Charlotte regional office. Managed efforts of 5 in analyzing existing processes and operations to identify root causes of issues. Defined and implemented new quality compliance process that evolved as a best practice for validating the issuance of policies to customers.

Planned, tracked, and coordinated the implementation of new shipping model that greatly reduced costs. Collaborated with clients, corporate account managers, and warehousing personnel for strategic Less-Than Truckload-Delivery initiative. Led critical efforts to forecast demand, integrate deliveries for multiple products, and build effective route structures to maximize truck utilization.
