I'm very industrious as a developer. I like to find ways to automate or simplify anything i work with. Before i started applying for jobs on linked in, I decided to put these skills to use by creating a web scraping application which would access my profile, go through all recommended jobs and note down all of the skills i was missing and then return them in descending order so i know what i need to work on. This is available on my Github account to see.Throughout my years of work i have primarily worked in the service industry as a barman. This has taught me how to engage with clients by encouraging them to try new things as well as keep them happy.I do have some experience in the IT sector, my week of work experience when I was in school took place as an IT assistant in south shields college, where i was designated to help with PAT testing as well as changing passwords for users who had lost them.I attended Northumbria University, where I studied Artificial Intelligence, and developed cutting edge methods of stock market fraud detection using the latest in neural network technology. However my magnum opus is an AI which is able to play asteroids which I recreated from the ground up. I have also created several other AI's including a website which was capable of detecting potential depression in twitter posts.Throughout my time at university I also picked up other skills, one of which being product design. I designed an intelligent system which was designed to take user symptoms and diagnose them. There are several websites that already do this, however my design was much more user friendly as it didn't require users to know complex terminology for symptoms they have.In my spare time i have started to learn electronics. Working with electrical components so i can branch out from software into hardware as well.I am currently looking for a software engineer entry level job, however I am prepared to take more experienced roles, All i ask ifs that i am pointed in the right direction to learn what i need to learn.
