I supervised, edited, and coordinated content for Slate's offshoot e-commerce site. This meant strategizing with the editorial staff on the microsite's purpose within the company's overall structure, and allowed me to both write product reviews and do in-depth reporting on brands like Yeti, Herschel Supply Co., and L.L. Bean.

Browbeat, Slate's culture blog, is responsible for bringing in a large share of traffic to the site. I wrote and published 2-3 posts a day while also providing support to the editorial staff and writing in-depth articles on everything from jazz pianists to disaster movies.
