I am a member of the ICB, with over 30 years of Accounting and Operational experience. I have previously worked as a Finance Director, Operations Director and Financial Controller for a Group comprised of 21 Companies with a turnover of £10 million. My tasks varied from heading the Finance to Operations of the Group and my experience and knowledge will allow me to produce in depth, high quality standard work.

• Project managing the implementation integration of job costing into the accounts system resulting in a significant reduction in the time taken to produce management information• Conducting detailed analysis of financial and management information and identifying significant cost savings across the company• Preparing management information required for the due diligence process during the sale of the company for US$40 million • Remaining with the company for another two years, travelling to New York to acquire an understanding of the buyers’ financial systems to enable the integration of reporting with their head office Key Responsibilities • Tasked initially with assisting the Finance Director in the management of the Finance Department for the young, up-and-coming company • Enjoying increased roles and responsibilities as the company expanded over the years from employing 20 staff to over 120• Ultimately assuming full responsibility for the management of the Finance Department involving preparing management accounts, payroll, budgeting & forecasting, variances, cash flow, final annual accounts, VAT and taxation• Responsible for the management of all company secretarial matters and for the authorisation of all payments made by the company • Liaising extensively with third parties to secure appropriate health, company and car insurance coverage and to setup company pension schemes • Actively involved in the management of day to day company operations including dealing with human resources, health & safety and tenants committees
