Jay Doherty is the Founder and President of JD Media, a NYC-based media company created in 2020 to provide high-quality voiceover and media production services to brands around the world. JD Media has completed more than 1,200 projects for various clients in more than 60 countries, including The Olympics, Pringles, Kellogg's, and Duolingo. The company’s work has been played in stadiums, published on verified social media pages, and heard by millions of ears around the world. Jay is currently studying Digital Technologies & Emerging Media and Theology in New York City at Fordham University, where he is a Curran Honors Concentrator in American Catholic studies. At Fordham, he is the lead politics reporter for the university's NPR radio station, WFUV, and the Leahey Renaissance Research Fellow through the Fordham College Dean's Office. Additionally, he serves as vice president of the university's "Friends of Murray-Weigel" Jesuit volunteer group and is a student representative on the Fordham College Alumni Association Board. As a Duffy Fellow through Fordham's Center on Religion and Culture, Jay co-directed the award-winning original documentary, Discerning the Call: Change in the American Priesthood, which debuted at The Howard Gilman Theater in April 2024.
