Jay Dorsey founded Triad Retail Construction in 2008, during an economic downturn and has since grown the company into a 50+ million-dollar entity, that operates throughout more than 40 states, including Puerto Rico and Hawaii. Triad’s clients have included Bed Bath & Beyond, H&M, Panda Express, Holiday Inn, Public Storage, JC Penny, Best Buy, Silverleaf Resorts, Valvoline, Caliber Collision, Service First and more.Jay has a variety of roles as a co-owner and President of Triad, but began as a project manager right after graduating from the University of Houston’s Civil/Surveying Engineering and Construction Management school over 20 years ago. While in college he was involved in the Sigma Chi Fraternity, Epsilon XI Chapter. Jay was also a proud recipient of a Naval Scholarship award to attend The Citadel, where he studied Civil Engineering, Surveying and Military Science. Jay remains active as an Executive Project Manager overseeing multi-million-dollar commercial projects and project management teams, whilst also keeping with the responsibilities as the president of a rapidly growing company. Jay serves on the Retail Contractor’s Association Board and has volunteered on multiple Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo committees for over 20 years.He very much enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 grown children, hunting and traveling.
