A family SME hydroponics retail company recognised as a market leader in this specialist industry with a successful online store.Responsible to the Managing Director for all aspects of the Sales and Delivery functions of two sites, together with customer services, price estimating, information technology, quality assurance, health & safety and personnel.• Motivate and support the sales team as individuals and as a team to deliver the business objectives and key performance indicator targets.• Ensure smooth implementation of Company policies, practices and procedures.• Customer relations management to develop the conversion of queries into sales.• Sales focused training.• Ensure accurate Stock audits are carried out confirming stock integrity.• Maintain price lists and promotions.• Liaise with brand representatives to maintain relationships throughout the industry. • Conducting reviews / appraisal meetings with team members as necessary.• Manage staff absence and disciplinary issues.• Cash handling and reconciling end of day takings.• Recruitment.

Responsible to the Shop Manager, helping to lead and develop the shop team to offer the best possible gambling experience for all customers.• Developing and training the shop team to deliver consistently good customer service.• Training the shop team to understand the company's wide range of product offering, including in shop and online promotions to enable them to have confident conversations with customers. • Managing all shop controllable costs within the agreed budget and ensuring the team understand how they can personally impact the shop's profitability.• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures, Responsible Gambling procedures and Think 21 procedures.• Managing the shop rota to ensure the shop is resourced correctly.• Creating promotions to meet financial targets.• Key Holder
