Through my 15 years of tire engineering experience and more than 17 years of product development and design in the cycling industry, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the best bicycle engineers in the world. I renewed the Bontrager tire name and product line by creating best-in-class tires from the ground up at Trek Bicycle. Now at Kenda Tire, I manage a team of engineers dedicated to engineering the best bicycle tires in the world.I have a strong track record of bringing highly successful tires to market. Many have been publicly recognized, and one received the Men’s Journal 2013 Gear of the Year award. Two new gravity tires I engineered were just featured in World of Mountain Biking's Best of 2018. Those same gravity tires helped pro riders podium 18 times in 2017. With the privilege of working alongside other brilliant tire engineers and even forefathers of the bicycle industry such as Keith Bontrager, I have gained invaluable knowledge in tread design, carcass design, and have amicably fostered relationships with both professional athletes and internal customers. I am also an outdoor enthusiast, avid cyclist, and don’t mind getting my hands dirty under the hood of a car.
