I opened this Branch from Scratch. From finding the commercial property, interviewing staff and opening sales and trading accounts. My natural desire to hunt out new sales and supply opportunities now sees me focus on this area of the business. The Blenheim branch now receives operational support from the Nelson Branch manager.

This was a new role for the company. An experiment into generating new relationships and sales opportunities for the region. I learned a great deal about concrete engineering and distribution.

At the moment, I am reassessing our overall operations from health and safety to accounting systems through to market opportunities and employee training. We are a very established company in the heavy panelbeating industry, having been around since 1954. We specialize in repairing earthworks machinery, cranes, trucks and EWP's.... however; we can also look after the smaller fleet requirements of our clients such as repairing their company vehicles. After spending over 12 years in Australia which saw me study business before working in different industries from Hospitality to shipping and then mining; I have moved home to take up a position in our family company with the goal now to blend in 21st century business strategy with the 100 plus years of heavy panelbeating and refinishing experience our management team share. We are well positioned for steady growth once we leverage off our current solid client base of equipment retailers, distributors and insurers in the Auckland market.
