Supervised a patrol squad of 12 officers in the Northwest side of the city who answered all calls for service. Provided training to probationary officers, oversee complex crimes, reviewed reports for accuracy and ensure that the goals & objectives of the patrol division are met.

Office Of The State Attorney-Fourth Judicial Circuit

Act as liaison between the State Attorney’s Office and the Sheriff’s Office and all other local, state, and federal law enforcement and regulatory agencies; be responsible for enforcing all criminal portions of the Florida State Statutes and local ordinances of the Fourth Judicial Circuit (Clay, Duval, and Nassau Counties) of Florida.When necessary conduct preliminary and follow-up investigations on cases filed with the State Attorney’s Office by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies and coordinate with the lead detective; of the appropriate agency. Conduct criminal investigations throughout the Fourth Judicial Circuit in the areas of public interest, environmental crimes, public corruption, arson, special operations and/or any other area at the request of theState Attorney. Interview complainants, witnesses, victims, and suspects; locate witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trials;Serve subpoenas and all other legal process throughout the State of Florida; obtain and serve capiases, search warrants, arrest warrants, and summons & make arrests and seizures in accordance with Florida State Statutes.Conduct security and logistical support for the State Attorney’s Office;and perform any other law enforcement or administrative duties upon the request of the State Attorney.
