Jay founded Fischer Financial Solutions in 2001 for accounting and finance professionals and later expanded the Fischer family of companies under Fischer Global Solutions to encompass Sales professionals, IT professionals, Property Management professionals and administrative support staff. Jay is a CPA who started with Ernst & Ernst in New York and went on to be Controller, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for both venture capital backed start up companies and Fortune 500 companies. He also served on the Board of Directors for The Seven Hills School and the Athenian School. During his 35 year career, Jay has prided himself on staffing and recruiting the very best accounting, finance, information technology, sales, property management and administrative staff. In 1996 as Co Founder, CFO and COO of NetsWork, Inc. created the business plan, orchestrated the funding of $12 million in first round venture capital and negotiated approximately $40 million in total funding to build a company to $100 million in sales over a 4 year period. Through over 750 employees the company designed, installed and maintained large scale voice and data systems for entities such as Wells Fargo Bank, Intel, Hewlett Packard, municipalities and universities.

As Executive Vice President and CFO of Taylor Made Office Systems, grew the company from 15 million to 50 million in sales and sold the company to Alco Standard Corporation which then spun off into IKON Office Solutions. As a Partner of IKON, CFO and COO of the northern California region, grew the company to over 300 million in annual sales through acquisitions and internal growth. Through almost 1000 employees, managed the company's growth and reputation as the premier distribution and service provider in Northern California.

In 1978 as Controller/CFO of Sunset Designs had management responsibility for a number of middle managers, supervisors and 125 employees. The company grew from $6 million to $30 million in the manufacture and distribution of needlecraft products. The company was successfully sold to a large British company
