Currently working as technical lead and architect in the Corporate Applications Group at Synopsys. This assignment requires me to provide solutions to business users and translate these solutions into software systems. I am responsible for the analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing, and implementation of enterprise wide systems (e.g. SQL Server, SAP) across functional areas. I plan and direct studies of potential electronic data processing applications and prepare design proposals to reflect cost, time and alternative actions to satisfy existing and future needs of the corporation. I am responsible for providing day-to-day production support to customers, working with business and account managers to evaluate and implement standard functionalities provided within the tools, investigating and developing customized solutions specific to Synopsys business needs, participating in various projects, and providing training and documentation.

I gained considerable exposure to implementing software systems, especially in the Business Process Management domain as well as translating and developing business processes into workflow systems using K2, a workflow engine tool built on Microsoft technology.I gained experience of travelling to client sites, working with clients to gather requirements and implement workflow processes based on business requirements and deploying the solutions to the client environment. In addition to K2, used features such as ASP.NET, Web Services, Microsoft SQL Server, thus gaining exposure to working on multi-component systems. I also mentored and conducted training courses for developers at client sites in K2 workflow development and management.
