Registration Specialist
CurrentThe Registration Specialist oversees the development, implementation, onsite installation (if required), and administration of registration for in-person and other ACGME educational activities. This position plays a key role in the success of the ACGME’s educational activities, including the Annual Educational Conference. Through the registration software, this position ensures that payments are collected from close to 7,000 event participants. The software system currently implemented is Cvent. This position contributes to overall team success by identifying problems and proactively seeking out methods for improvement and efficiency.-Designs, develops, and implements a registration system for ACGME educational activities, including but not limited to: the Annual Educational Conference, coordinator workshops, chief resident workshops, and faculty development courses. These events range from 60 to 5,000 participants. -Leads and coordinates all aspects of registration, including pre-planning and post-event wrap-up.Contributes and oversees the planning and design timelines for multiple ACGME activities simultaneously. Builds and manages activities in the registration system, tailored to the needs of the activity administrator.-Research, evaluate, and manage contracts with registration-related vendors to ensure proper use of funds for development and improvement.-Collaborates with the activity administrator and edits content to send attendee communications through the registration system, ensuring all registered participants are informed of details/guidelines for each event.-Revamped and redesigned the registration process for multiple programs, resulting in 12-15% in attendee growth annually.
